The home version includes a mode called Tekken Force, as well as the bonus Tekken Ball mode, and also includes remixes to the characters' themes from the arcade version. Due to the 19-year storyline span between the game and its predecessor, the game largely features a new cast of characters, including the debut of staple main character Jin Kazama, the child of Kazuya and Jun, as well as now-staple characters Ling Xiaoyu and Hwoarang, with a total of twenty-three characters. Tekken 3 was released in arcades and for the PlayStation in 19, respectively.

Simply put, Tekken 6 for the PSP is a pocket full of pugilistic glory and bragging rights.Tekken ( Japanese: 鉄拳, "Iron Fist") is a Japanese media franchise centered on a series of fighting video and arcade games developed by Bandai Namco Studios and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. But even if your not, even if you’re a casual PSP player, it’s the perfect platform to hone your skills during work, family gatherings, long delays in airports, and when you’re supposed to be watching American Idol with your significant other. So, if you’re a devout PSP denizen, owning this game goes without saying. No matter how bad you screw up, there are no witnesses. Needless to say, the sheer privacy that the PSP offers a gamer is perfect for training. Since “ghosts” vary in strength and fighting ability, they are a great training tool.

Now don’t forget, “ghots” are character data that players can develop, save and share over the internet. After beating the Arcade Battle mode, I found myself actually utilizing the Ghost and Practice modes (which are included on the other platforms) to enhance my technique.

To state the obvious, it’s Tekken on the go! But, for myself, I noticed that my PSP quickly became an outlet for training. With graphics and motion on par with your immovable platforms, this is a must have for mobile players. It’s still the same great, ass-kicking fighting game Thus, sadly, I have no new laudations to give. And in one sitting, using my favorite old man Wang Jinrei, I beat it! The bitch, however, is I can only rest on my laurels for a few more days. Accordingly I jumped right into Arcade Battle. I prefer battling the CPU or friends (and enemies). I’m still not very much of a Story mode fighter.

Power kicks, combos, and special throws: every technique was effortlessly executed via the familiar layout of the portable console. From the minute I picked up my PSP, intuition and training took over. You’ve got Arcade Battle, Story Battle, Ghost Battle, Challenge Battle, Network, and Practice. So, what more can I say? It’s the same, entirely unlocked forty playable characters (some old, some new). Okay, essentially you’re looking at a carbon copy, yet on a portable platform. Well, my words so far must have tickled Namco Bandai. And I’m not mad at you my brother-in-law is still kicking my ass!

By now you’ve probably overindulged in Tekken 6 on either the PS3 or Xbox platforms, or perhaps even both.
